Biography: In January 2009 Dangerous Dan broke into the major leagues by signing up with the Dallas, Texas based promotion known as the Global Championship Wrestling Association. Dan quickly entered a tournament to crown the new World Champion but fell short in his first match losing the first round. He went on to compete for the Intercontinental Championship for nearly three months, nearly winning the title on several occasions. In March 2009, Dan along with his brother Crazy Chris, who together are known as the Danger Boiz, went on to win their very first Tag Team Championship. They held on to the titles for nearly a month before losing them at Blood on the Battlefield III. The loss of a championship did not last long, though, as Dan competed in a battle royal to win the newly reinstated Television Championship. For six weeks he defended the championship and beat every opponent put in front of him. He lost the title nearly two months later, but would capture the championship soon thereafter.

After loosing the TV title, Dan competed in several mid-card matches while his brother Chris climbed the ladder and captured the Television title. He began gearing up for another shot at the Tag Team titles, and on the Halloween show in October 2009, the Danger Boiz once again captured the Tag Team titles and making GCWA history by becoming the first-ever two-time Tag Team Champions.

On November 10, 2010 Dan lost his girlfirend, Kassy, during the birth of their son Elias Shane. Dan became a single father and continued working miles away on the other side of the US. However, with the help of family, Dan was able to maintain his career, along with raising his son.

At the beginning of 2010, Dan began competing rarely if not at all. He found himself behind held back, while Chris received a bigger push winning both the Television and X Division titles in back-to-back weeks thus unifying both titles. Dan started to become jealous of his brother, and at GCWA’s Blood on the Battlefield in April 2010 Dan entered himself in the first ever Ultimate X match against Chris and two other men. After falling short, Dan contemplated on leaving professional wrestling but realized that there was more to give. He changed his ways and began teaming up with Chris again and capturing the Tag Team titles for a record breaking third time, becoming the only team to ever do so.

As Tag Team Champions, Dan and Chris found themselves in a company control battle. They teamed up with House of Pain to defend in honor of Commissioner Lurrr. After two months of holding on to the Tag Team gold, they lost the championships to their bitter rivals and to the Stock Holder of the company, The Great One.

In August of 2010, GCWA President, Accelerator, announced the closing of the company. The final show of the company was Heat Wave where two weeks prior Dan signed on to compete in the Harvey Danger Hardcore Title Praking Lot Brawl Invitational. Dan fought against eleven other men, and captured the Hardcore Championship once during the bout. The night before Heat Wave the Dan and Chris were officially inducted into the 2010 GCWA Hall of Fame.
